Do you find yourself eagerly watching politicians argue, engaging in classroom discussions on current events, ethics, justice, and injustice, or avidly reading the debate sections on various news outlets- or minor things such as whether to put pineapple on pizza? Do you enjoy learning, understanding, and facilitating important learning and reflection opportunities? Then I highly encourage you to apply for the position of debate and workshop manager in the debate and discussion team!
Here you will have the opportunity to work with a range of students in creating a creative, innovative, and challenging debate and discussion program surrounding the theme of “power”. You will be responsible for one or two of the events that the debate and discussion team will host during the festival. But fear not- the planning and sparring before the festival will of course be done together. Together with the debate and discussion team, you will have the opportunity to research, understand, and create meaningful additions to the culture program for students and citizens of Trondheim and all around the world. As a debate and workshop manager, you will work with other students with the same title, together with the whole of the debate and discussion team, as you will be tasked with the planning, organization, and execution of the various debate and discussion events on the culture program.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you want to meet up for a casual coffee to discuss the position. There are no strings attached to asking questions or meeting up. No previous experience is required as well! Looking forward to meeting you!
