In recent years, the Indre Østfold band Hagle has established itself in the top tier of Norwegian artists when it comes to streaming and concert appearances, with its joyful country rap, which is about the robbery environment and the local rural culture where they grew up.
With over 150 million streams, countless TV appearances, a closing show on the VG list and frequent radio airplay, it's almost impossible not to notice Hagle in the Norwegian public eye these days.
Their distinctive blend of banjo, fiddle, accordion and rap has been embraced by the entire nation and all of the band's singles have topped the charts on Spotify. The band's first two singles were picked up by the NRK series Rådebank, and their fifth song “Bøgda (the countryside)” soared to 5th place in the Spotify top 50.
