UKEsjefvalg UKA-25
An amazing UKA-23 is behind us, and in the wake of last year's festival, a new UKE will be created. It is time for Storsalen to elect the UKEsjef for UKA-25! The election takes place in Storsalen on Thursday 8 February. This event will be in norwegian.
Show up either if you want to stand for election yourself, or if you want to join in voting for the next leader of Norway's biggest cultural festival. Join us and vote for the next leader of Norway's biggest cultural festival, UKA! Everyone with a valid membership of the Society has the right to vote, but remember a valid membership card as you need this to be able to cast your vote. Note that the doors open at 17:30 and the meeting begins at 18.00. The election will be streamed live on UKA's YouTube channel, but it will not be possible to ask the candidates questions or cast a vote unless you are present in the Great Hall.
The position of chief of the week is one of the student community's largest positions. It gives you a unique opportunity to shape an organization that many students in Trondheim have a strong relationship with. It is a position that is filled with endless joy, exciting challenges and talented people. UKA grows as you grow into the role of UKE manager, and you have over 1.5 years to plan a festival. The position requires no prior knowledge other than commitment and time. If you have good ideas for how UKA-25 should be the UKE of all time - ask the UKE chief and be the one who lays the foundations for the fifty-third UKA!

It is also possible to register your candidacy directly to the Society's Board (styret@samfundet.no), or register as a candidate for the Great Hall at the Society's meetings before or on election day.
