The Pricks // Knaus 22:59
The Pricks (Sandvika, Norway) was formed in the autumn of 2017 and consists of Gert Aanje (vocals, guitar), Gråbb Hanssen (drums), Bog Randen (gitar), and Unni Bendigtsen (bass guitar).
Their inspiration from the Classic British Rock movement and British Invasion gives their music a sound similar to that of the 60s and 70s, the golden age. In the music you will find hints of Supergrass, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Bob Hund, Suede, Motorpsycho, and The Beatles, among others. The Pricks play energetic rock music with a bit of melancholy and psychedelia mixed into their musical pot.
The band has played lots of concerts all over the country (Norway) at reputable venues such as John DEE, Musikkflekken, Kroa i Bø and Rockefeller. The Pricks has been a support act for several well-known artists, including Di Derre and Bernhoft in the period 2018-2019. In 2021, on the occasion of their release of "Bloody Nightlife", they went on a tour and played in several Norwegian cities, as well as Rome and Berlin.
The Pricks have released 6 singles and 2 EPs, which are all available on streaming services.
