About the position

We are a group of software developers at Studentmediene who are passionate about programming and creating cool solutions together. As a software developer with us, you get the opportunity to work on exciting projects such as iBok, EMNR, Radio Revolt and more! This gives you a unique chance to dive into the challenges related to setting up and developing critical services for a medium-sized company.

The professional aspect

We ensure that you receive solid training, both in pure programming and in developing software in an engaged team environment. Working hours are flexible: We have a weekly meeting and a work evening per week, and beyond this, work time is organized in smaller groups. It's an advantage if you have experience with some of our programming languages and frameworks, but the most important thing is that you are motivated and willing to learn. We'll take care of the rest together. We focus on cloud services and forward-looking technology. Among the tools you will work with are Azure, Kubernetes, React, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Python, and Django.

The social aspect

Being part of Studentmediene and Samfundet gives you not only professional benefits but also many social ones. We are a close-knit group who like to do things together outside of our working hours as well. Whether it's eating together at Lyche, organizing board game nights, singing at a karaoke bar, or other social activities, we make sure to have fun both on and off our job.

Other useful information

The position as a software developer is a two-year commitment. If you plan to go on an exchange, the position can be paused while you're away and then resumed when you return to Trondheim. The position also requires in-person attendance at the weekly meetings and work evenings.
