About the Position
Are you the one who notices every tiny design detail on websites and apps? Do you dream of creating user interfaces that are both beautiful and functional? As a designer at Studentmediene, you'll have the opportunity to leave your mark on exciting projects such as iBok, EMNR, Radio Revolt and more! Here you can help shape digital experiences used by thousands of students.
The Professional Aspect
In our design team, we work with the entire process from idea to finished product. You'll gain experience with user insights, sketching, prototyping, and developing visual profiles. We also place great emphasis on frontend development, so you'll have the chance to see your work come to life in our products. As a designer with us, you'll also work closely with skilled software developers in a creative and educational environment.
Our work structure is flexible, with one weekly meeting and one work evening. Beyond that, we organize ourselves into smaller groups to ensure effective collaboration. Experience with UX/UI tools is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have a burning passion for design and are eager to learn!
The Social Aspect
Being part of Studentmediene and Samfundet provides not just professional benefits, but also many social ones. We are a close-knit group who like to do things together outside of work hours as well. Whether it's going to eat together at Lyche, organizing board game nights, singing at a karaoke bar, or other social activities, we make sure to have fun both on and off the job.
Other Useful Information
The position as a UI/UX designer is a two-year commitment. If you plan to go on an exchange, the position can be paused while you're away and then resumed when you return to Trondheim. The position also requires in-person attendance at the weekly meetings and work evenings.
