Studentersamfundet's Student Film Night

On April 1st, fresh new student films from Trondheim’s students will be screened. A jury consisting of the Culture Committee and the Jump Cut student organization has curated a selection of short films submitted by students in Trondheim. This is a great opportunity to see what students are working on—and maybe even catch the next Morten Tyldum before he heads off to Hollywood.
The opening film is a short film created by Samfundet’s internal team, titled Sommerfuglen (The Butterfly), starring Eilov Grandal.

Sommerfuglen: When reality and fantasy merge, who are you really?
On a journey that crosses the borders of reality and imagination, Markus navigates between
what is real and what is illusion, finding himself both within and beyond his own existence.
What is the truth? Who is he when no one else sees him, and when he sees no one else? In
a parallel reality, through a web of coincidences, he uncovers something deep and
unexpected about himself.
