Election
A new leader of the Student Society is to be elected!
Tuesday, February 25th, it’s time for the election at Samfundet! Bring your red membership card and head to Storsalen to take part in deciding who will lead the Student Society.
As the leader of Samfundet, you are responsible for the political profile of the Society and for representing the house externally. Through debates, society meetings, and other events, you help set the agenda and direction. The role offers plenty of opportunities to shape the position and work on causes close to your heart.
The position brings great experiences, opportunities, and challenges. You will represent the members in dealings with the rest of the Society and the outside world. Perks of the role include speaking to 9,000 new NTNU students during their matriculation, negotiating multimillion-dollar agreements, inaugurating new buildings, and meeting countless inspiring and amazing people!
This is a varied and exciting role! No specific prior knowledge is required, and the period from the election until you officially take over as leader on May 17, 2025, provides plenty of time to get to know the organization, the position, and to select a new board.

Doors open at 17:45. Entrance through the main entrance. The event is free for members and costs NOK 50 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
