Zupermaria

Over the past couple of years, Zupermaria has given us solid and captivating songs at a fast pace, but has yet to take her music on the road. Now she's finally ready, and will embark on her very first tour in February.

The artist made her entrance in 2020 with the album Ka har du gjort nu, Maria. The album was the sound of a restless and unpolished shooting star, who was able to balance her playful native language pop cleverly between the vulnerable and the danceable.

Since then, the Bergen artist has released a number of singles, had 17 chart positions on national radio, been nominated for P3 Gold and played festival concerts to six on the dice.

After the hectic start, she took a tiny step back last year to work on new music. In the process, she has scratched deeper beneath the surface than before, writing songs that let the listener get several notches closer to the person behind the unassuming artist name.

Now Zupermaria is gearing up again. Her long-awaited second album will finally be released this fall, before she takes her first real step onto the concert stage next year.
