UKA: Jonas Benyoub
Jonas Benyoub to Storsalen!
With influences from both Alf Prøysen and Samira Said, tajine and pinnekjøtt, half-Moroccan Jonas Benyoub has a unique ability to convey messages through flow, metaphors, and rhythms.
Jonas was born and raised in Oslo, and he has been active in the Norwegian hip hop scene for about ten years. He has been referred to as 'one of the absolute best we have in the rap field,' and all the hard work resulted in multiple top 50 rankings, radio listings, and awards from P3 Gull, Spellemann, and By:Larm in 2022. Many also took notice of Jonas when he featured with Karpe on 'BARAF/FAIRUZ' and several of their live shows, including Oslo Spektrum.
After a busy festival summer with Øyafestivalen as a notable highlight, Jonas Benyoub now aims to blow UKA away!
On October 11th, he will take on Storsalen and UKA!
