Cold as the howling winds of the Norwegian shore, Strandhugg delivers both bone chilling filthiness and bouncing grooves.
Heavily inspired by the age of iron, the music slams like hamer and
anvil, echoing throughout the fjords.
Strandhugg delivers modern progressive metal combined with the
coldness of Scandinavia which gives a sound of unforgiving brutality,
inspired by bands like Meshuggah, Monuments & Gojira.
Previous releases include 'NORN' in 2014, followed by 'ÆTHRA' in
2015, 'KYN' in 2016 and Brotna in 2018.
During this period Strandhugg also toured eastern-europe and
performed shows around in England and Norway.
On the 23rd of July 2022 their album 'Ashes of Yggdrasil' was released
on all streaming services. Now the time has come to bring 'Ashes of
Yggdrasil' to life on stage.
