Yndling // Knaus 23:59
Yndling is the dream pop project of Silje Espevik. The project draws inspiration from modern to classic dream pop bands, such as Beach House, Men I Trust, Mazzy Star and Cocteau Twins, and offers a dreamy and floating sound, characterized by layers upon layers of guitar and synth surrounding an intimate and almost whispering vocal.
The project started in 2020, where an upload on Soundcloud was the start of a collaboration with the British-Italian label Kerry On The Cake. With them, Yndling released her debut single "Childish Fear" in 2021, and in January 2022 her self-titled EP came out. Four of her released songs have been referred to as "Best Akkurat Nå" by NRK P3, and the shoegaze-infused song "Like Love is Real" achieved radio listings on NRK P3.
