In an interplay of complex compositions and a talent for classical singer / songwriting, DØ creates an immersive soundscape characterized by uglypretty elements against soaring and goosebumps-producing vocal melodies. With extensive experience from the alternative Dutch stage, she has been seen in various music and art projects such as the hybrid VRUKT, and on renowned stages such as Melkweg Amsterdam, Paradiso and Eurosonic Noorderslag. Since the EP release ‘Ways of Escaping’ (May 2021) which was reviewed as a 5th by Klassekampen, she has enchanted her audience at home on e.g. Blå, Ingensteds, Samfundet and Kulturhuset in Bergen, and won 5 stars in Bergens Tidende for her first appearance at Vill Vill Vest 2021. After a hectic autumn and spring in the Netherlands under the auspices of the festival Popronde, SIGNE DØ is ready for Elektrosamfundet in Trondheim.
