Presidentvalg, ISFiT 2019

Storsalen at Studentersamfundet is going to choose who will lead the world’s largest international student festival. On this night, both the president and the theme of the next ISFiT will be decided!

ISFiT is arranged in February every other year and each festival has a theme related to social and political topics with international relevance. Here, more than 450 students from all over the world gather to discuss the theme in 16 different workshops, and to take part in the cultural program the festival offers. ISFiT is a non-profit organization and is made possible by the volunteer work of more than 400 Trondheim students.

The work ahead of the festival is just as important as the festival itself. Each festival is built from the ground up, which creates great opportunity for innovation. The president is responsible for laying the path for and building what will eventually become an organization of 450 volunteers.

The road to get there is filled with happiness and fun, excitement, challenges and learning, experiences from management and projects, and of knowledge of important social issues and a broad international network.

Are you the next president? Or do you want to influence the result of the election? Use your right to speak to question the candidates and your vote to decide who should win.

The election takes place in Storsalen, and it is the members of Samfundet who decide the outcome. The candidates get to present themselves on stage, and will then be questioned by the audience. Before the vote, each candidate holds a closing appeal. The election will happen by voting using a ballot box.

There are no requirements demanded for those wanting to apply, and the leader will receive thorough training from the previous board, who will share all their experiences. If you are interested in running for ISFiT president, or if you know someone who should, send an e-mail to president@isfit.no

Only members of Studentersamfundet in Trondhjem have the right to vote, so remember to bring your membership card.

It is possible to reserve a table from 12:00 Monday 20.03.2017. To reserve a table, send an e-mail to ”styret-bordreservasjon@samfundet.no”. There is a maximum limit of 6 people on each table, and there is a limited number of tables. The reservation must be registered before 14:00 on Wednesday 22.03.2017. This is a free offer to anyone wanting a table, but a reservation is not necessary to get a seat for the meeting.
