Diversegjengen

Diversegjengen (DG) is responsible for the maintenance and modification work on Studentersamfundet. DG was first established under UKA, originally as the Carpenter gang and later as the D-gang during UKA-55. The D-gang was created as a permanent group at Samfundet and founded on October 23rd, 1976. At the time the D-gang consisted of 8 officials, but has now been extended to 10, and always has at least one electrician with an official certificate.

During UKA the D-gang, with the help of UKE-funker, is responsible for building UKA's traditional UKE-project. Electrician(s) then form their own gang (Electrician gang, and then the E-gang), which takes care of the electrical work on the UKE-project. The D-gang is Samfundet's tool and source of knowledge when it comes to larger and smaller refurbishment and repair work.
