Ricky Warwick and Damon Johnson first met and became band mates when they joined forces in Thin Lizzy in the fall of 2011, and their creative partnership evolved when, along with Scott Gorham, they launched Black Star Riders in 2013.

Warwick and Johnson co-wrote the bulk of material on the BSR debut album, All Hell Breaks Loose, and furthered their efforts on the 2015 follow-up, The Killer Instinct.
In the summer of that same year, the two performed for the first time as an acoustic duo, Warwick/Johnson. Their rollicking, diverse setlist contains all manner of material, spanning the past two decades of bands they have individually played in, as well as new solo material and covers of songs from their favorite artists.
