Samaris [IS]
After a fantastic performance at by:larm, the critically acclaimed band Samaris is coming all the way from Iceland to perform at Samfundet. With their atmospheric electronica, we can expect a deep melodic perfomance, inspired by everything from trip hop to Icelandic folklore.
Gruppa har dratt inn fantastiske anmeldelser over hele linja, blant annet 8/10 fra både britiske NME og Drowned in Sound, med kommentarer som "Elegant and unusual" og "Brilliantly, the lack of a common language doesn’t stop you getting swept up in the
band’s strangely sensual world."
Det er med andre ord ingen grunn til å la språket stoppe deg ifra denne sjeldne musikalske begivenheten, da bandet allerede har spilt på by:larms to største scener; Tidal- og Sentrum scene.
Videre ble bandet i 2014 nominert til Nordic Music Price, for deres selvtitulerte debattalbum Samaris.
