Weltschmerz 2225

The year is 2225, and Studentersamfundet in Trondhjem is one of the few remaining buildings from a bygone era. What happens when people of the future start searching for answers about what it was like to be young in 2025? In Weltschmertz 2225, we meet a group of individuals attempting to recreate the lives of the students who once roamed Samfundet. What did people of the past think about? What dreams and ambitions did they have? What were they afraid of, and were they happy? And why were they drunk so often?

The performance is free and lasts approximately 1 hour. Audience members should meet outside Café Edgar (on the east side of Studentersamfundet’s new building). We ask that attendees bring a headset and a smartphone with Spotify.

The performance will be held twice during the day, at 18:00 and 20:00.
