ISFiT presents: ULD // Nidarosdomen
ULD is a fresh Oslo-based trio consisting of Une on vocals, Lucia on piano, and Dagny on accordion. After spending three years together in high school, they first started jamming at Toneheim Folk High School. And it’s safe to say that it has worked out very well!
Since then, they have continued brewing and enjoying making and playing music. Together, they write intimate and honest lyrics, complementing them with harmonies and melodies straight from the heart.
The band's instrumentation gives the music a unique expression that is not easily defined by genre. However, they describe themselves as often gravitating towards a kind of indie-folk-pop format.
In addition to writing their own lyrics, they are also inspired by Norwegian poets such as Jon Fosse and Gunvor Hofmo, striving to bring new, modern life to their powerful poetry.
ULD is brewing something truly special, and we are eagerly looking forward to what comes next.
