Announcement of the Student Peace Prize 2025
A new laureate of the Student Peace Prize will be presented to the world. For 25 years, the Student Peace Prize has been awarded to a student or student organization, working for human rights, democracy and peace. Join us in Storsalen for a live-stream of the announcment!
The Student Peace Prize was established with the intention of supporting student and studentorganization, who works for human rights, peace and democracy. The Prize is a collaboration between The Norwegian Student Association (NSO), The Norwegian Students' and Academics' International Assistance Fund (SAIH) and the International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT). The Prize is awarded on behalf of all Norwegian students and is awarded every other year with a ceremony during ISFiT.
For the past 25 years, the Prize has been awarded to 13 students and student organizations. Studentactivism is just as important today, as it was 25 years ago, something our new laureate really shows. The event is streamed to Storsalen from Oslo. There will be a presentation from the Peace Prize Committee, video of the winner and a panel discussions.
