Christmas Screening: Tokyo Godfathers (2003) 🎄
Come to the final movie screening of the semester: Tokyo Godfathers, a Japanese animated film about an abandoned baby in Tokyo on Christmas Eve.
Tokyo Godfathers is an animated film in which three homeless individuals—a drunkard, a transgender woman, and a young girl who has run away from home—discover an abandoned baby on the streets of Tokyo on Christmas Eve. As they search for the child's parents, they encounter a series of comedic and unpredictable events along the way. The film is a blend of humor, drama, and social commentary, reminding us of the power of humanity during the holiday season.
