Docufilm: King of Kong (2007)
Hardcore gamers compete to break world records on classic arcade games.
In the early 1980s, the legendary Billy Mitchell set a Donkey Kong record that stood for nearly 25 years. This documentary follows Steve Wiebe, an unemployed teacher from Washington, in his attempt to break the Donkey Kong record. During an annual tournament at Funspot, Steve beats Mitchell's record, but Mitchell quickly responds by sending in a controversial videotape of himself setting a new record. Wiebe then travels to Florida, hoping Mitchell will face him at the 2007 Guinness World Records showdown.
