Sailing for change: X Trillion screening & Women panel on plastic pollution!
14 women, 3000 nautical miles, and plastic pollution. If you want to hear more about women in science, plastic, and environmental damage, you are warmly welcome to the screening of X Trillion and the panel discussion afterwards.
The Plastic Cooperation research group from NTNU and Samfundet would like to invite you to a screening of the documentary X Trillion, which narrates the remarkable journey of 14 women sailing 3000 nautical miles to highlight the pressing issue of plastic pollution in our oceans. The film underscores the urgent call for collective environmental actions. Resilience, teamwork, women leadership, and the hard reality of marine plastic pollution are all topics this documentary brilliantly touch upon.
Following the screening, we will be holding a panel discussion to delve deeper into this huge and ubiquitous problem. Kristine Berg, one of the 14 inspiring women, will be on the panel along side other strong and intelligent women with different backgrounds.
(The plastic Cooperation would like to thank Handelens Miljøfond for sponsoring the event.)
The film screening and panel discussion will be in English.
