We are ULD! An Oslo-based girl trio with Une on vocals, Lucia on piano, and Dagny on accordion!
Our ensemble gives the music a unique expression that is not easily described by genre. We experiment with improvised music and draw inspiration from ballads, indie, jazz, folk, and traditional music. Together, we try to write honest lyrics that are complemented by the musical arrangements. In addition to writing our own lyrics, we are also inspired by Norwegian poets such as Jon Fosse and Gunvor Hofmo, and we strive to bring new modern life to their powerful poems.
During our first year as a trio, we have had the pleasure of playing at several concerts and festivals, before finally releasing our first single “From Another Reality” at the end of June 2024! We are very excited to share new music with you this fall! Before that, we will have several concerts, so stay tuned!🧡
