Masåva takes over Dokkhuset Scene, the jazz house in Trondheim, on February 14th! It will be a magical evening with acoustic, driving sound with original choral harmonies.

Masåva debuted in 2018 with a Spellemann nomination for their self-titled debut album. For many, the song Jorda Rundt from the same album was what made the people aware of Masåva. The follow-up album Er vi store nok nå? received good reviews and was named the 6th best album of 2021 by Gaffa.no.
The band is characterized by its acoustic, driving sound with original choral harmonies in Norwegian. Thoughtful lyrics about man as species and individual, about belonging in an environment and all-consuming love from a young mind, all have a central place in their music and are highlighted in the raw, dreamy landscape of fiddles, guitar, synth, bass and drums.
