Celebration Event for volunteering and diversity

On Sunday 5th December, the municipality invites to a Celebration Event for volunteering and diversity.

At the event, Trondheim Municipality's Volunteer Prize and Diversity Prize will be awarded. The program also includes Hypercumbia, Musikalfabrikken, Alexandra Pavlovic, Tuva Eir Dale and Alexandra Rotan. Charlotte Audestad is this year's conference for the event. The event is free, but the participants must reserve tickets at Hoopla.

About the Volunteer Award
Trondheim municipality awards a volunteer prize every year. The prize consists of 25,000 kroner and the statuette "Skrog" made by the artist Erlend Leirdal. The prize can go to a person, or persons, institutions or organizations that perform selfless efforts for the benefit of fellow human beings in Trondheim. The award shall honor voluntary work related to health, care and welfare services, social services, education, culture or the environment.

About the Diversity Award
The purpose of the diversity award is to give the receiver honor and attention for their active efforts to promote integration, inclusion, equality and gender equality of immigrants in working and/or social life in Trondheim. The prize can be awarded to individuals, private and public companies as well as voluntary teams and organizations belonging to Trondheim. The diversity prize consists of a diploma, a work of art and a sum of money of 25,000 kroner. The Diversity Prize was first awarded in 2014. To thank and honor everyone who makes a voluntary contribution, as well as contributes to a strengthened diversity in Trondheim, the mayor invites to a Celebration Event. The performance is free, and both established and unestablished artists enter the stage with musical gems.
