When we one day look back at our time as students, we shall look back at a time when we continuously made new friends, where we participated in social student activities, and met people with different interests studying different things. We shall be able to point at people we got to know during our time as students that we are still close with, and dream back to the days where we sang ‘Nu klinger’ in Storsalen together with a thousand fellow students.

That is not the case now. New friends have been replaced with digital lectures, and ‘Nu klinger’ with day after day in a small flatshare. Sadly, we won’t be able to fill Storsalen with a thousand people any time soon—but we can still do our part to make sure Trondheims students feel a certain kind of belonging in spite of the situation we find ourselves in.

For that purpose, we are arranging the student's friend group initiative. There are no demands from you, only that you fill out the form. The initiative is equally as much for you that are new in town as for you that have been here for several years. We place you in a fitting group, put you in contact with each other and suggest activities. If you want to be in a group with a friend, that’s fully possible. Everything is of course in accordance with current regulations.
