Thorleif Bratval // Knaus på Klubben

The debut album "Sjelefred" was released in September 2020 and has been brilliantly received. Several
songs from the album were immediately picked up in spotify's own playlists, including «Norwegian
shows »where Thorleif is in good company with artists such as Odd Nordstoga and Ole Paus.
They have also been listening to P1 and P13. At the sold-out release concert in Langhuset on
Salt in Oslo was the atmosphere on the roof, an atmosphere we are now ready to take with us further out in
the pretty country. In the company of a very strong band, a concert experience of them is offered
rare.

In the summer of 2019, after a persistent period of borrowing equipment and logistics, Thorleif left
Bratval with a star team of young musicians up to the family farm in Ringerike. The
lodged in the old house of the grandparents and rigged a studio inside the storage cage.
Among milk buckets and butter cheeks, the album took shape: drums on the ground floor, guitars in
others and amplifiers at the very top so that it sang well in the stabbur bell when they left
the farm. The result was the album "Sjelefred".
