ISFiT: Nosizwe + Tjore and Ogawa // Dokkhuset
Nosizwe Lise Baqwa is a multitalented artist, actor and singer. The young artist Jakob Ogawa is a newcomer from Oslo, Norway. They will be performing together at Dokkhuset during ISFiT.
ISFiT presents a double concert with Nosizwe and Jakob Ogawa!
Nosizwe Lise Baqwa is a multitalented artist, actor and singer. With roots both in Norway and South Africa, she carries an artistic commitment and a community commitment that permeates everything she does.
She will be playing with Anders Tjore. Nosizwe and Tjore have created an unique sound that is hard to put in one box; it is an improvisational fusion between soul, jazz and flamenco. The music is never the same and changes every time they perform live together, making each concert unique. They released an album project in the fall of 2018 with compositions signed Nosizwe / Tjore and the American composer Georgia Anne Muldrow. Anders Tjore is a singer and composer and multi-instrumentalist.
The young artist Jakob Ogawa is a newcomer from Oslo, Norway. The Norwegian has plenty of soul and love in his music, and it has a drowsy, luscious and off-kilter sound. Ogawa writes his own material and records everything himself. This year he follows up with even greater tunes.
