Bijou: Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)
“I can tell you something about this place. The boys around here call it ‘The Black Lagoon’ - a paradise. Only they say nobody has ever come back to prove it.”
After fossilized remains are discovered in the Amazon, a group of scientists set out on an expedition to look for more. They end up in the Black Lagoon, where they meet a half-man-half-amphibian creature. As the scientists find themselves trapped, they realise they’ve gotten more than they bargained for. Bring your flippers and join us as we dive into film history with this classic horror film from 1954.
