As Radiot, you'll become member of Akademisk Radioklubb
We in Akademisk Radioklubb (ARK) are a nice group of people residing in the attic of the Student Society of Trondheim. We're one of the oldest Amateur Radio clubs in Norway, being founded in 1923 and active on radio since the Norwegian legalization of HAM radio in 1926. As a member, you'll become a member of our club, and if you got an amateur license you might get to use our equipment as well. In addition to our radio-gear, we got a well equipped workshop for electronic projects, in particular radio projects.
The club have a varied selection of members, mainly interested in science and technology. In particular people who like things like computers, electronics and physics. Here you will have good posibilities of learning new things, and maybe get a handfull of friends as well! We arrange some electronics courses for our members every now and then, and once a semester we hold an Amateur Radio license course open for everybody.
Some of the other things we do, is that we check ID at the 20-year places at the Student Society, as well as doing some other small tasks for the Society every now and then.
If this sounds like something for you, don't hesitate to apply!
