Studentersamfundets Symfoniorkester
Studentersamfundets Symfoniorkester, commonly called Symforch, is Samfundet's own symphony orchestra. Having been founded in 1910, Symforch is one of Norway's largest and oldest student orchestras. The orchestra is part of Studentersamfundets Orkester, also known as Musikerlåfte'. They practice in Storsalen every Tuesday, with conductor Gavin David Lee.
Symforch performs regularly - and their concerts vary greatly both in musical genre and duration. They have a broad repertoire, and do occasionally perform alongside choirs and soloists.
